Specialist PCI Security Professional
Role summary
The selected expert will conduct a comprehensive review of the Plastic Card infrastructure of a major corporate retailer as a preview to formal audit for PCI-DSS certification.
The right person will be highly familiar with Plastic Card Industry Data Security Standards compliance and will have been involved as a certified auditor, or as an auditee.
Position responsibilities
Review all aspects pertaining to compliance standards and identify complying and non-complying items.
Identify, define and document remedial actions required to meet the standards.
Consult on methods to address any deficiencies, including alternatives, best practice and practical approaches.
Provide knowledge-transfer to client's technical staff on compliance issues and improvements.
Provide written assessments, reports, conclusions and recommendations, as appropriate.
Skills required
Specific experience in conducting or participating in PCI-DSS compliance audits.
Demonstrated ability to conduct thorough data security reviews.
Demonstrated ability to communicate technical issues to non-technical users.
Demonstrated ability to engage, consult and educate.
Demonstrated initiative, administrative rigour, and self-discipline.
Professional data security experience in the Plastic Card industry.
